A new retail project in Cortina d’Ampezzo
In the heart of a city preparing to host the Winter Olympics, along Corso Italia, Marconi has delivered a new retail space that interprets the language of the high mountains through a contemporary, bespoke design.
Developed across multiple levels, the project is set within an iconic building in the urban fabric, enhancing its prominent corner position and its direct relationship with the public realm.
Materials and atmosphere: a dialogue with the Alpine context
The images of the project reveal a refined use of natural materials:
wood dominates ceilings, walls and furniture, conveying a sense of warmth and continuity, while stone becomes a central architectural element, structuring the space and strengthening its connection with the mountain landscape.
A space designed for experience
The interior environments are conceived as a fluid sequence of display areas and more intimate zones, where freestanding furniture, central tables and seating elements help shape an immersive experience.
Every component has been custom-designed to interact with the proportions of the space and with the strong identity of the location.
Particular attention has been given to visual continuity between the different levels, achieved through architectural solutions that guide visitors through the space and reinforce a sense of depth and welcome.
A Marconi project
This intervention confirms Marconi’s approach to retail design:
a tailored process that brings together function, aesthetics and context, transforming the commercial space into an environment capable of telling a story through materials, light and construction details.
