Marconi furnishings on Old Bond Street

In December 2025, Marconi completed a new retail project in the heart of Old Bond Street, one of the most iconic and prestigious streets in international shopping. Opened on December 12, 2025, the space fits into an urban setting of significant architectural and symbolic value, engaging with the street’s timeless elegance and commercial rhythm.

The project represents another milestone in Marconi’s international journey, confirming a design approach that combines formal rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex contexts.

A continuous dialogue between façade and interior space

The façade serves as a connecting element between the city and the retail environment. Large display windows punctuate the elevation and become an integral part of the experience, projecting the interior design language outward.

The visual relationship between the street and the interior is carefully designed to ensure continuity, transparency, and recognizability, enhancing the natural flow of visitors along Old Bond Street.

Interiors: a balance between urban elegance and hospitality

Inside, the project unfolds through bright, orderly spaces where volumes, surfaces, and bespoke furnishings create a fluid and intuitive path.
The light color palette, expressed through delicate tones, helps shape a sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere that welcomes without overwhelming.

The spaces are defined by:

  • integrated display systems,
  • freestanding furnishings,
  • lounge areas with upholstered seating that introduce a more intimate and relaxed dimension within the overall layout.

Each element contributes to an environment where function and aesthetics interact in a balanced way.

Materials, light, and proportions

One of the project’s defining features is the meticulous attention given to materials and lighting. Surfaces are finished with precision and consistency, while lighting—integrated into ceilings and display systems—guides the space without ever dominating it.

The lighting design helps to:

  • highlight the products,
  • define the different functional areas,
  • maintain a constant perception of order and continuity.

The proportions of both spaces and furnishings are carefully studied to ensure a comfortable and coherent experience, aligned with the surrounding urban context.

An international project by Marconi

The new space on Old Bond Street confirms Marconi’s ability to operate on an international scale, interpreting iconic locations through tailored design that is attentive to context and the functional needs of contemporary retail environments.
